NavGuru is your personal navigation assistant and a smart travel diary. Document your daily travel or chronicle memories of a vacation with personalizable photos, detailed description and elaborate navigation data.

INNOVATIVE MAPPING TECHNOLOGY
Abstract from details and have a bird’s eye view of your trip. Or zoom in and examine data at every point of your journey. Our location tracking system uses special algorithm to dynamically adjust data collection, including tricky situations with iffy GPS signal.

STEP-BY-STEP TRACKING
Trace your journey on the map with speed, elevation, and course; record traveled distance and time taken; see live traffic conditions as you move. Divide your route into named segments. You are in charge of what is saved: tracking can be paused and resumed with a simple tap at any moment.

NEVER LOSE TRACK
Tap “Find Me” button to zoom in on your current location if the map is scrolled away. Press the “Follow Me” button to have map follow your location as you are moving. The state of the active trip, including notes’ and photographs’ location is automatically recovered in case device reboots.

CUSTOMIZE NAVIGATION DATA
Use units you are used to: meters per second, miles per hour or kilometers per hour. See real-time data, such as current speed and course, time elapsed and distance on live map.

BE CREATIVE WITH PHOTOGRAPHY
Take in-app photographs without launching the Camera app. If auto-focus or auto-exposure do not look right – set them manually with a simple tap.
Enjoy the new dimension we’ve added – the photo pin on the map will also show the direction where the camera was pointing in at that moment.
Add non-destructive color markup to your photos. Export the photo with or without your sketch to Photos app.

CREATE MEMORIES
Create color coded notes to categorize special places (e.g. pink for your favorite ice-cream corners). Pick from 5 beautiful colors for note background and photo markup. Photo and note pins are added to the map, tap to see photo thumbnail and note details.
Photos also get street address (feel free to add your own caption); and if there was no signal at the time of action, missing address data is automatically recovered. We also preserve time zone information - so that you don’t have to deal with time conversion and daylight saving time.

ORGANIZE SAVED TRIPS
Create folders to group related Trips. Trips can be moved inside folder as well as between folders. Move folders inside folder organizer.
View travel history in two ways: either select an individual folder, or choose “Show All” to see all trips grouped by (not hidden) folders. Select a symbol and color combination to build your folder’s icon.

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES
Show your friends and family the places you visited. Share your current location on the live map or any part of the history map (you pick zoom level and map area), notes and photos by attaching them to text message or email.

FAVORITE PLACES
Mark current location as a favorite when en-route. Or create one in retrospect from the location of a photo you took some place you liked. Show or hide favorites on maps. Design unique map icon for a favorite place, give it a name and description; share it on the map of your choice via email or message. Organize Favorites list in the Setting area.

APPLE WATCH APP
Right on your wrist - start, pause and resume the Trip, see speed and distance traveled, as well as phone and watch battery charge in real time.

YOUR DATA - STRICTLY PERSONAL
Very important: have complete peace of mind over your privacy and choose when and with whom to share your data. The information you save does not leave your device.

NavGuru is extremely handy with user friendly interface and useful functionality – whether you are walking, jogging, cycling, or driving.

Accuracy: Challenging environments (like high concrete buildings, tunnels, etc) may be hard for GPS. Use vertical and horizontal accuracy values provided for every point for evaluation.
